We are pleased to announce that our annual dinner will be held at The Melbourne Club on Wednesday 13^th November. The delay has been caused by difficulties with negotiating a suitable date with a suitable speaker. We are pleased to announce that this year’s guest speaker will be Professor Martin Daunton, Emeritus Master and Honorary Fellow of Trinity Hall and noted historian. Given the anticipated changes to the World Order on 31^st October, his talk entitled “The Future of the United Kingdom – after Brexit” will be nothing if not topical. We can only hope that the speaker manages to leave Europe so soon after the much-hyped chaos on 1^st November.
